At Joykas Cakes & Pastries, every cake, pastry, dessert, and bakery product is freshly prepared upon receiving your order. Since our products are perishable and often customized, the following Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all orders placed through our website, WhatsApp, phone, or any online platform.
1. Order Cancellation
- Orders can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time.
- A 5% cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover payment gateway and processing charges.
- Same-day orders cannot be cancelled and are not eligible for a refund as preparation begins immediately after confirmation.
- Customized cakes, photo cakes, fondant cakes, wedding cakes, corporate cakes, and other personalized products cannot be cancelled once production has started.
2. Refund Policy
You may be eligible for a refund if:
- Joykas Cakes cancels your order due to unavoidable circumstances.
- We are unable to deliver your order due to reasons solely attributable to Joykas Cakes.
- You receive a damaged, incorrect, or spoiled product.
To report a quality issue, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery and share clear photographs of the product and packaging.
After verification, Joykas Cakes may, at its sole discretion:
- Replace the product,
- Issue a full or partial refund, or
- Offer store credit.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided if:
- The delivery address or contact number provided is incorrect.
- The recipient is unavailable or refuses to accept the order.
- Delivery is delayed due to traffic, weather conditions, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- The product has been consumed, mishandled, or stored improperly after delivery.
- Minor variations in design, colour, decoration, or message writing occur due to the handmade nature of our products.
4. Return Policy
As cakes, pastries, chocolates, snacks, and bakery products are perishable food items, returns are not accepted after delivery, except where the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
